Buying, selling or renting

The steps and costs

Stamp duty, legal fees and RPGT are federal and work the same in Kuala Lumpur as elsewhere in Malaysia. Read buying a subsale property, selling your property and renting out a property, and use the buying costs calculator for your own numbers. Foreign-buyer rules are the part that differs by state, so they are set out above.
