If you live in Singapore and want a JB home you can see, finish and use or rent out now, start with projects that are already completed. These are the completed homes on my site within an easy drive of the Causeway, from serviced apartments next to the checkpoint to landed homes and waterfront villas.
Buying something completed means you can inspect the actual unit and view, check current rents in the same building and see how well the building is managed, instead of relying on a brochure.

What to check on a completed home
- The maintenance fee, sinking fund and any arrears on the unit, through your lawyer.
- Current rents and how many units are listed in the same building, if you plan to rent it out.
- The bank’s valuation against the price you agree. If it comes in lower, read what to do when the valuation is below the price.
- For foreign buyers: whether the unit meets the Johor minimum price and needs state consent.
